Anna initially trained as a singer, instrumentalist
and performer back in 1979. She sang with the London Philharmonic as well as various semi professional opera companies in London.
Anna then went on to train and work as a music therapist.
When she became a parent Anna utilised her skills and experience in running workshops, composing and working with children and adults with a wide ranging needs, to set up Music Makers in 1993.
This organisation worked with families with children aged 0-8 years promoting the educational and emotional value of using music to support child development within the family and educational establishments. This continues to run under the name Bongalong.
As well as running the choir and supporting Bongalong Anna also teaches piano to children and adults.
Anna says......
'Setting up and running a choir has been an exciting, exhilarating experience for me. I have learnt so much and had so much fun getting to know, and working with, so many wonderful people.'
